Wine of the Week: Yarden Chardonnay Odem Organic Vineyard 2003 (Israel) $19
With Passover celebrations just under a week away, April 3-9 this year, it seemed appropriate to handpick a perfect kosher white wine for the Passover Seder. Yarden's 2003 Chardonnay from the Odem Organic Vineyard is an exceptional full-bodied white wine selection with plenty of oak, lots of butter and fresh flavors of pear, apple and a bit of melon, followed by a seamless finish. This is a top pick white wine to accompany traditional Passover meals. The 2003 Yarden Chardonnay, from the Odem Organic Vineyard (in the northern Golan region, 1200 meters above sea level), is truly a treat.

It is very nice to read about a good Israeli wine in this important web site.
I would like to invite you to read also about the wine industry in Israel in .
Thanks.
Unfortunately I cannot read Hebrew. I have tried some very nice wines from Israel at a local tapas bar. They were recommended by the bartender and I really enjoyed.
Not many Israeli wines are available to us in the states as of yet. It will be an interesting market to watch.
