V. Sattui is one of Napa's most popular wine stops on the Hwy 29 Wine Trail. With $10 tastings ($15 for reserve tasting), really good wine, a delicious deli and postcard perfect, gorgeous grounds - it's easy to understand the attraction. The main tasting room has an "Old World" charm, while the deli and gourmet cheese market offer a wide variety of artisan picnic pickings. The V. Sattui picnic set up is hands-down the best in the valley, with views, vineyards and vino all within arms reach of the picnic tables. However, be forewarned the crowds descend on the weekends, so try to stop at V. Sattui during the week or let it be your first stop on the weekend.
