The Lure of the Loire Valley

Tuesday April 12, 2005
The legendary Loire Valley, often referred to as the heart of France, it is this valley that cups the famed Loire river and yields some of the nation's most impressive wines. Loire wines come in an array of reds, whites, blush, sweet or sparkling - truly a wine find for any occasion. Known for their ability to flourish with foods, Loire Valley wines are generally meant to be enjoyed early on, rather than aged in your cellar for years to come.
