One of the Columbia Valley's stately Cabernet Sauvignon blends, the 2008 Chester Kidder is composed of close to 60% Cab, 30% Syrah and well rounded with the addition of Petit Verdot and Cab Franc. Cherry and chocolate dominate the engaging aromatics and do their part to snag your attention.
The palate shows tremendous balance with dark fruit pushing forward, well woven tannins taking care of the structural demands, an inspiring oak influence creating complexity and spicy character, and a long, velvety finish rounding out the elegant profile.
