Despite the very long name, the 2009 Fritz Haag Brauneberger ("Brauneberger" is merely the name of the steep hillside that hosts the wine's vines) Juffer Sonnenuhr (the name of the specific vineyard) Riesling Spatlese is an absolutely delicious Riesling wine from Germany's much-loved steep slope Mosel region.

You'll find fresh, lively character with solid balance, mouthwatering apple, peach and citrus rounding out the fruity character and exceptional aging potential in this Riesling.   Fritz Haag is extremely well-respected for both the quality of the wines and the skill of the effervescent father-son vintner team.   This is a picture perfect, extraordinarily versatile white wine for so many occasions - summer gatherings, weddings, graduations or simply as a patio partner for sipping and savoring on its own.
