The 2004 El Coto de Rioja 'Coto de Imaz' Reserva is a classic medium-bodied Rioja red, made from the much-loved Tempranillo grape.
Talk about fresh, ripe red berry fruit on the palate - largely in the form of cherry, strawberry and a touch of currant, followed by delicious spice and lingering vanilla tones. The overall balance and tannin structure works very well in this wine and makes for a remarkable pairing partner with tapas, sausage or peppery dishes.
