Now that many have gotten used to, if not embraced, the idea of screw caps in lew of corks, Boisset Family Estates, a large French wine company, is experimenting with offering wine in plastic bottles. Motivated by the bottom line and environmental factors, they have bottled their Beaujolais Nouveau wines in Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) plastic containers for U.S. distribution. Read more...
