Wine of the Week: Vina Robles Sauvignon Blanc - Jardine Vineyard 2007 (CA) $14

Thursday May 1, 2008

What a perfect summer treat - the 2007 Vina Robles Jardine Sauvignon Blanc boasts terrific color, great fruit and an expressive finish. This Sauvignon Blanc is a straw yellow color and has a tangy aroma of fresh peach mixed with a bit of earthiness. It is a medium-bodied white wine with the full fruit flavors of pear, peach and a hint of citrus. This is a classic Sauvignon Blanc with the expected acidity and the fresh, crisp finish. Brilliant with artichoke, sushi or a variety of herb-filled favorites!
