Stacy's Wine BlogWine of the Week: Yarden Chardonnay Odem Organic Vineyard 2004 (Israel) $20
The 2004 Yarden Odem Chardonnay from Israel is a delicious white wine find, perfect for an Easter Sunday brunch. The color flourishes in the glass with deep yellow hues rimmed in gold edges. The aroma is beautifully presented through fresh citrus fruits and a bit of apple. You will find pear, green apple and a bit of pineapple on the palate. The finish is persistent and full of butter, truly a delight. Also, note that the Chardonnay grapes from the Odem Vineyard have been grown by organic standards.
