Wine of the Week: Redstone Meadery's Boysenberry Nectar (CO) $13

With St. Patrick's Day only five days away, some may be looking to celebrate the festivities with one of Ireland's oldest drinks - honey wine, or mead. A classic Celtic drink that was once revered by Kings and peasants alike and a key component of Celtic marriages. So forego the green beer this year and try a wee bit o' Mead with your corned beef and cabbage. Redstone Meadery has got you covered on the Mead front from Nectars, to Honey Wine and even a port-like version of Mead called the Redstone Reserve. The featured Boysenberry Nectar is light on the alcohol at 8%, is sweet, light and spritzy. You can definitely taste the boysenberry and honey from the get go, a fun festive drink to add to any St. Patty's day shin dig!
