It is a fantastic educational concept out of the Napa Valley, allowing wine lovers to "adopt" a grape from a specific row and vine (you choose the grape yourself, complete with varietal descriptions and aerial or ground photos). Then you will follow that grape from bud break to harvest and fermentation to bottling. Expect to receive weekly updates with pics and video footage to see how your grape is doing and ultimately to familiarize yourself more intimately with the rigors of producing a beautiful bottle of wine.
