Wine of the Week: Lindemans Shiraz Bin 50 2006 (Aus) $7

Lindemans 2006 Bin 50 Shiraz is a wonderful bargain wine for fall. Deep flavors of dark fruit - blackberry, cherry and a bit of blueberry wrapped in vanilla and wooded spice. This is a medium-bodied red wine with strength derived from noted tannins and an elegant peppery finish founded on well-balanced acidity. Certainly a wine to keep on hand for Oktoberfest fare, grilled sausage, smoked meats and hearty meat dishes.
