Red Wine's Resveratrol Decreases Risk of Prostate Tumors

Recent research conducted at the University of Alabama found that resveratrol, an antioxidant found in red wine, had a significant impact on lowering prostate tumor growth in lab rats. The study results indicated an 87% reduction in prostate tumor growth as a direct result of dietary resveratrol. Resveratrol is a non-toxic, anti-cancer compound that is easily consumed via red wine and/or supplements.
