Wine of the Week: Frog's Leap Sauvignon Blanc 2005 (CA) $16

Thursday February 22, 2007
The 2005 Frog's Leap Sauvignon Blanc is a hallmark vintage that will take your breath away. Citrus on the palate? Certainly. Balanced Acidity? No doubt. Well priced? For sure. This medium-bodied, fairly dry, food-friendly Sauvignon Blanc is a keeper to have on hand for house parties, celebrations, or to merely enhance a myriad of dishes - think ethnic options, fish, poultry and hors d'œuvres. As an interesting aside, Frog's Leap wines contain grapes that have been organically grown.
