Wine of the Week: Churchill's Late Bottled Vintage 1999 (Portugal) $23

The Churchill's Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) is a very rich and rewarding Port. Perfect for the holiday season as an elegant apertif, or putting its best foot forward as a festive dessert accompaniment. The sweet, velvety texture of this LBV is accentuated with a vivid display of dense cherry fruit and just a hint of carmel. This particular ruby colored, red port was a huge hit with dark chocolate fondue and dried fruit.
