About.com's Travel Guide for seniors, Ferne Arfin, has just posted a fabulous article about a French vineyard in (AOC Costieres de Nimes)that is undertaking the vinification of ancient Roman wines. By partnering with an archaeologist and a classical writings expert, the vintner is following recipes and agricultural methods of Pliny the Elder, Lucius Columelle and Cato, to create intriguing wines.
