Wine of the Week: El Coto de Rioja Rosado 2005 (Spain) $10

El Coto de Rioja's 2005 Rosado is a must try summer rosé. Offering an off-dry palate with plenty of ripe red cherry and strawberry - delightfully fruity but far from sweet. This wine has gorgeous color, balanced acidity and a great quality to price ratio - would be a terrific choice for luncheons, brunches, Asian fare or summer salads. A very versatile wine at a very reasonable price.
