Wine of the Week: Bodega Catena Zapata Chardonnay 2004 (Argentina) $18

Thursday June 22, 2006
The Catena Chardonnay is an appealing Chardonnay from Argentina that is a refreshing diversion from typical "oaked" Chards, relinquishing a fresh flavor profile of green apples, apricots and even a touch of mango enveloped in a steely minerality. The finish maintains a crisp acidity and is perfect for pairing with grilled fish or cream-based poultry dishes.
