Wine of the Week: Wyndham Estate's Bin 555 Shiraz
Monday June 13, 2005
The Wyndham Estate Bin 555 Shiraz from Wyndham Estate is a super-value red from Australia's Hunter Valley. This medium-bodied Shiraz offers bright fruit-forward flavors of plums and strawberry, followed by a dash of pepper and a touch of black licorice. A great Shiraz for a Father's Day BBQ - easy to find, easy to drink and well priced at $8 a bottle.

I am coming to a conveyancing conference at Wyndham Estate on 23 Sept this year and need to know what actual town you are in so I can organise accommodation. Can you recommend anywhere? Thanks. Will fly in to Cessnock airport I guess.
Hey Stacy, I think I am a wine lover…..or not??? I like a very sweet floral flavors! hence moscato/ prosecco??? are these considered as true wines? Can you suggest a good pick for each, since i am new at the wine game

I would love to become a wine snob, i just dont know which wines to snubb and which ones to drink….please help me!!!
thank you!!!!!
I’ve loved ‘Bin 555′ for many years – a very good, standard wine.
Here in England, I once bought six cases (at a good price) because I enjoy it so much.
On a motorcycling trip to the US I stopped at Red Lodge, Montana, having dinner at the Pollard Hotel (where in 1897, diners watched Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid rob the bank opposite).
There, on the wine menu, 2,000 miles from my home, was ‘555′! And it was as delicious in Red Lodge as it was in London, England!!
Traci, Glad to hear that you are visiting Wyndham Estate. It is located in Dalwood which is mostly a farming area. The closest accomodation to the winery is this B&B http://www.leconfieldhouse.com.au/
Richard and Luby (who own the B&B) are wonderful, I always stay there. The closest town is Branxton.
